Originally from Fort Myers, Florida, Dr. Rosales earned her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Florida. During her undergraduate studies, she worked her way from kennel technician to veterinary technician, an experience that solidified her passion for veterinary medicine and sparked her dream of becoming a veterinarian while seeing the world. That dream took her to Brisbane, Australia, where she was accepted into the veterinary program at the University of Queensland.

After graduating in 2019, Dr. Rosales and her family returned to the United States in early 2020, where she began practicing in a small private clinic. While she enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, her true passion lies in small animal surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Rosales loves family outings, hiking, skiing, road trips, and all things adventure. These passions inspired her family’s recent move to Utah, where they’re excited to explore the state’s incredible landscapes. She lives with her husband, children, and their beloved Norwegian Forest cat, Mufasa, who’s been part of the family since their time in Australia.

Dr. McKenna Walters grew up on a cattle ranch in small town Erda, Utah, where she fostered an endless love for all animals – whether they be large, small, exotic, or wild. She has always wanted to be a veterinarian, so she went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Sciences from Utah State University, while volunteering at a local veterinary clinic and working in an animal science research lab. She was then accepted to the WIMU Veterinary Medicine Program, spending two more years at USU, then two at Washington State University.

Throughout her life, education, and career, Dr. Walters has dabbled in and loved a lot of areas of veterinary medicine, ranging from small animal preventative health, to large animal reproduction, and even wildlife rehabilitation. However, she has found that she has a strong affinity for small animal surgery and internal medicine, which appeal to her nature as an empathetic lifelong caregiver and dedicated problem-solver.

When she’s not working, Dr. Walters enjoys hiking, making and gifting handicrafts like sassy cross-stitching, spending time with her siblings and friends, and especially reading, while surrounded in her comfortably chaotic home by her Newfoundland and Chiweenie, Ren and Penny, and her four cats, Kitty, Blue, Harvey, and Shadow.

Dr. Lindsey Zachary grew up in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where her veterinary career started the way a lot of good ones do — as a kennel assistant at a local clinic. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona, followed 4 years later by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University in 2022. Since graduating, Dr. Zachary has worked as a veterinarian in small animal general practice.

For Dr. Zachary, veterinary medicine is all about strengthening the bond between people and their pets by helping owners understand and care for the animals they love. She has special interests in surgery, urgent care, and senior pet care, and she tries to bring her knowledge and genuine care (along with the occasional treat) to every appointment.

At home, she’s outnumbered by her husband, Jacob, and their 4 animals — two golden retrievers, Sunny and Herbert, and two cats, Ace and Harper. When she’s not at the clinic, she’s out on the trail with the dogs, buried in a good book, or at the gym.

Natalie is gentle, intuitive, and known around the clinic as a bit of a “dog whisperer.” She’s especially great with sensitive pets and brings a calming energy to appointments and recovery care. When she’s not at work, Natalie enjoys crochet and yoga—anything that keeps her grounded and creative.

Vivian is positive, steady, and quietly confident in patient care. She brings a level-headed approach to the day and helps pets feel secure through gentle handling and a calm demeanor. Outside of the clinic, Vivian enjoys video games and relaxing with a good story-driven adventure.

Zoie is enduring, upbeat, and brings a steady positivity to every shift. She’s the kind of tech who keeps going, keeps smiling, and keeps patients feeling supported from start to finish. Outside of work, Zoie loves puzzles and anything that presents a challenge.

There’s no one quite like Jarrett—and that’s exactly how we like it. As the owner and manager of Monarch Veterinary Hospital, he’s the steady hand steering the ship, the first one to roll up his sleeves, and the last one to leave.

He’s the kind of person who can balance a budget while piping frosting onto a perfectly golden cupcake. A fan of 80’s pop music and a walking encyclopedia of canine trivia, Jarrett brings equal parts heart and humor to the clinic every day. His tattoos tell stories, his brownies win awards (at least, unofficially among the staff), and his care for the team—both two- and four-legged—is unmatched.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find him volunteering at the local library, testing out a new baking recipe, or organizing his ever-growing vinyl collection. A true family-man who loves days with them at splash mountain. There is nothing like a day at the park with his whole family.  He’s got a soft spot for scruffy faces, good conversation, and community connection.

With Jarrett at the helm, Monarch Veterinary Hospital is more than a clinic—it’s a place where everyone feels at home, tails are wagging, and the playlist is always on point.

Hey, I’m Lianna! I’m the Assistant Manager at Monarch Veterinary Hospital, where I help support our clients, our team, and all the moving pieces that keep the hospital running smoothly. With a background in customer service and employee retention, I love creating an environment where both people and pets feel genuinely cared for.

I wear a lot of hats—from scheduling, training, and software systems to marketing, photography, community outreach, and jumping in wherever I’m needed. I’m endlessly curious about veterinary medicine and love finding creative ways to make things better for our team and the families we serve.

Outside of Monarch, I’m married and the very proud mom of two IVF miracle kids who are my absolute world, along with three wonderfully unique cats. I’m also an artist, illustrator, and lifelong anime and Pokémon fan. Being part of a locally owned hospital built around compassion, creativity, and community makes Monarch feel exactly like where I’m meant to be.

Frankie has called Monarch home for the better part of a year, and he’s made himself fully comfortable. Full of personality and a little bit spicy, Frankie keeps our team on their toes—but he’s also deeply attached to his people and loves attention on his own terms.

These days, he spends his time supervising the hospital, claiming the best nap spots, and making sure everyone remembers that he runs this place now. He may be spoiled, opinionated, and just a touch dramatic, but Frankie has become a beloved part of the Monarch family.
